The chains, when installed correctly, work pretty well. The inline part of the chain is not very effective. The chain material is not a good ability metal. If you have to use the chains for a long time they will wear out fairly quickly. I live in northern Wisconsin. For occasional use they work fine. Learn how to install the chains before you need to use them. They are tricky to put on if you have not practiced.
